How long does it need to sit in the Toilet bowl to kill the mold?
Follow these instructions: Flush toilet & add 2 oz of Gone. Swab the bowl completely using a scrub brush or toilet mop making sure to get under the rim. Let stand 10 minutes & then flush. These steps will ensure the mold is removed.
Can this product be used at the mouth of thermos water bottle which has a rubber mouth? It has some algea growth.
No. It contains strong chemicals that may be harmful. It's designed to clean large interior/exterior surfaces. Instead, clean with dishwashing detergent or a combination of vinegar & baking soda
Can this be used on a carpet?
No. It is designed for use on hard surfaces. Reports indicate that using vinegar works well. To remove mildew and musty smells, apply a mixture of vinegar and water to the affected area of the carpet. Vinegar is a great home remedy for absorbing stubborn odors. Depending on the amount of mildew on the carpet, mix one cup of vinegar for every two cups of water.
Can I use this in the washing machine's self cleaning cycle?
No. It's not designed for use in internal machinery like washing machines & dishwashers. Vinegar is a good safe alternative.
